Funimation will Air English Dubbed ‘My Hero Academia’ Simultaneously with Japan For First 6 Episodes
My Hero Academia is back on April 7, and Funimation wants to ensure that whether you’re a lover of sub or dubs, any fan can join in on the hype.
With the start of the fresh season Funimation will reinstate the trend it began with season 2 of MHA, and for the initial 6 episodes deliver English dubs the same day as Japanese releases. This simultaneous dub format will be available for viewing exclusively on FunimationNOW. While Crunchyroll and Hulu will only provide viewers with the Japanese dub and English subtitles.
If only six weeks of day-and-date English dubs has you questioning if the subscription is worth the cost. It’s important to note that with season two, despite their promise of 6 weeks of simuldubs last year. The cast became enthralled in MHA’s story and in a blink of an eye 14 weeks had passed. Something is telling me with the path MHA is set to go down in season 3, the chance of a repeat is looking favorable.
Just a little more than a week before MHA makes a triumphant return. How will you be keeping up with the series, subs or dubs? Let us know in the comments below! Or join our Discord to talk about your favorite MHA moments.
