Maya Hawke Joins ‘Stranger Things’ Season Three Cast And Priah Ferguson Upped to Series Regular
Stranger Things Season 3 is rounding up nicely, as not only will it feature “new forces of evil” but will also include a new character as well as give us more of a fan-favourite from season 2. I’m talking about Maya Hawke’s addition to the cast and Priah Ferguson’s upped as a recurring role.
Ferguson played Erica -Lucas’ strong-willed little sister-, a character that stole every scene she was on in S2. This upcoming season she will return with an army of her own friends, no longer happy with sitting on the sidelines while everything in Hawkins goes crazy. According to a report from Variety, Erica will “find herself on a wild mission to save Hawkins from a dangerous new threat.”

On her part, Hawke will play an “alternative girl”, who according to Variety’s report- is “bored with her mundane day job, as she seeks excitement in her life and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins, Ind.”

Ferguson’s credits include Atlanta and Mercy Street, while Hawke has been previously seen in BBC’s Little Women.
Stranger Things season three is supposed to make a time jump when it premieres, as lead actors are growing faster than production anticipated so it will be interesting to see this development in the time jump.
