John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein Hired as New Directors of ‘Flash’ Film

Hot off the presses is the announcement that the upcoming Flash movie has officially found its directors in the form of John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Back in January news broke that the duo behind Horrible Bosses were reportedly in talks to direct the DC film, and during the press tours for their new film Game Night both men were quick to state that nothing had been confirmed or set in stone. Now it seems that the deal has officially been closed with Daley even taking to his Twitter to share the exciting news:

The film has passed through a few directoral hands before including Seth Grahame-Smith, and Rich Famuyiwa but it seems that Daley and Goldstein have every intention of seeing the film through to the end. It is currently unclear wether or not they will be working from an existing script or if the two will be starting over entirely, and it is also currently unclear if the title of the film that Warner Bros. previously announced, Flashpoint, (hinting at the time-traveling arc from the comics) will also remain the same or if Daley and Goldstein will ultimately decide to go down a different route.
