While amassing a physical comic book collection can be a daunting task, but it just got a whole lot easier. This morning Diamond, the largest physical comic book distributer in the world, announced a new online service called “Pullbox.” This digital service was created for comic book readers who are trying to keep track of their pull list and the comic books being released at their local comic shop.
As long as the local comic shop is taking part in the service, Pullbox will allow readers to manage their current pull list with their local comic shop, add current series to their pull list digitally, and make single issue purchases. This provides comic book readers an easily manageable system and gives retailers a way to reach out to newer readers. Thankfully, the service is not completely digital, which means that comic book readers will still be able to support their local comic shop through the service.
