Miguel, Natalia Lafourcade, Gael García Bernal Will Perform Song from ‘Coco’ at the Oscars
Last fall, Pixar’s Coco sang its way into our hearts and topped charts across the U. S. and the world. And this spring on March 4, Coco will arrive at this year’s Oscars Awards. Pixar’s animated film is nominated for a couple of awards: Best Animated Film and Best Original Song for “Remember Me.”
Not only will Coco‘s presence at the Oscars include its nominations, but Miguel, Natalia Lafourcade, and Gael García Bernal will team up together to perform the very song the film is nominated for on the Oscars stage. The names and collaboration might be familiar to fans because Miguel and Natalia Lafourcade actually previously worked together to perform the closing credits for Coco. Additionally, Gael García Bernal voices the charming trickster skeleton Hector.

This will be the first time this trio will be performing together live. And it is worth noting and celebrating their performance because Spanish and bilingual performances are rare at the Academy Awards.
