‘Jumanji’s’ Ser’Darius Blain Gets Lead Role in ‘Charmed’ Reboot
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star Ser’Darius Blain has booked his next big role. The actor has joined the Charmed reboot as one of its male leads.
The CW describes Charmed as a “fierce, funny, feminist reboot of the original series centered on three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches. Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy, and maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.”

Blain is set to be Galvin, “the ideal boyfriend — funny, mellow, in touch with his emotions, totally on board to follow his lady across the country for her dream job. An aspiring filmmaker, he has yet to catch the break he’s sure is just around the corner.”
Blain played the young Fridge in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. He then turned into Kevin Hart in the video game.
The original series starred Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty and later Rose McGowan as the Charmed Ones. Very powerful witches whose bloodline was destined to fight the evil of the underworld.
It ran on The WB for eight season from 1998-2006. It still airs in daily reruns on TNT and streams on Netflix.
The original show’s stars and die-hard fans have been very vocal in their resistance to a new Charmed. What do you think? Will you watch?
