Overwatch’s Year of the Dog: Puppy Rumble Will Bring The Puppy Bowl to Esports
As rosters are reworked and strategies are bolstered in preparation for Overwatch League’s stage 2, kicking off on February 21. A new Overwatch contest is gearing up in OWL’s absence, and the competition is looking ruff.

Today, Blizard announced the Puppy Bowl of esports, Year of the Dog: Puppy Rumble. Other than the trailer revealing several good boys and girls dressed as Overwatch Heroes, not much is known about what the event will entail. But do we really need to know more than dogs wearing costumes? Nah.
Overwatch’s Year of the Dog Puppy Rumble will broadcast live on February 19 at 3:00 pm PST. The stream can be found on Overwatch’s official Twitch page Twitch.tv/PlayOverwatch.
In other video game dog related news. Yesterday, Neil Druckman confirmed that The Last of Us: Part II will, in fact, have dogs. To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Neil posted a picture of a handsome pup, decked out in a snazzy purple mo-cap suit.
