Cameron Britton, Colm Feore, Adam Godley, & Ashley Madekwe Join Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy’
Netflix continues to reveal actors for its upcoming series adaption of The Umbrella Academy. Most recently, it was announced that Mary J. Blige will be playing villain Cha-Cha, a time-traveling assassin. And late last year, Netflix rounded out more of the cast including Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, David Castaneda, Aidan Gallagher, and Robert Sheehan.
The Umbrella Academy
Now, joining the cast are Cameron Britton (Mindhunter), Colm Feore (Chicago), Adam Godley (Breaking Bad), and Ashley Madekwe (Revenge).
Britton will play Hazel, a ruthless hitman working under a contract who time-travels and assassinates targets from different decades. His work puts him in direct competition against rival Cha-Cha.
Feore takes the capacity of Sir Reginald Hargreeves, billionaire industrialist and eccentric inventor. Father of seven children born of mysterious circumstances and with supernatural powers, Hargreeves trains his children to into a dysfunctional team of young superheroes.
Godley has been cast as Pogo, a genetically-engineered, tweed jacket-wearing talking chimpanzee. He serves as the trusted aid of Hargreeves and is much beloved by the Hargreeves children.
Madekwe will portray by-the-book Detective Patch who works for the police department and has a focus on solving the string of crimes in the city.
