Lindsey Beer And Geneva Robertson-Dworet To Pen ‘Silver & Black’ Film
Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet have been called by Sony to pen the most recent script for Silver & Black, Sony’s project around the Marvel characters Silver Sable and Black Cat, more popularly known for their appearances in Spider-Man comics.
Beer and Robertson-Dworet are widely known names in the writer world, especially when looking for geek and genre cred. Beer’s most recent work includes Chaos Walking, Lionsgate’s upcoming post-apocalyptic thriller starring Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland, and has been part of several high-profile writers rooms including all Transformers projects, Godzilla vs. Kong and Quentin Tarantino’s Star Trek to name a few.
While on her part, Robertson-Dworet most recent work can be seen on Tomb Raider, starring Alicia Vikander that will premiere on March, and is currently working on Marvel’s Captain Marvel.
Gina Prince-Bythewood
Silver & Black is set to be directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, who wrote and directed The Secret Life of Bees, and will focus on the lives of Silver Sable, a mercenary who hunts war criminals, and Black Cat -an acrobatic burglar-. Matt Tolmach (Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle) and Amy Pascal are producing.
