Keira Knightley, Matt Smith Star in Real World Spy Story ‘Official Secrets’
Though he has wrapped up his run on The Crown, Matt Smith has already booked his next real life story.
He will star alongside Keira Knightley in Official Secrets.
The feature centers on British Intelligence whistle-blower Katharine Gun (Knightley), who, during the immediate run-up to the 2003 Iraq invasion, leaked a top-secret NSA memo exposing a joint U.S.-U.K. illegal spying operation against members of the UN Security Council.

The film is directed by Gavin Hood and written by Sara and Greg Bernstein based on the book The Spy Who Tried To Stop A War, by Marcia and Thomas Mitchell.
Both actors are incredibly busy right now. In addition to The Crown, Smith can also be seen in the lead roles of the upcoming biopics Mapplethorpe and Charlie Says, where he plays Charles Manson.
Knightley co-stars with Dominic West in Colette and will appear in the Disney movie The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
