Netflix remains on top of its game in the original programming department as it has officially ordered 16 episodes of a new live action, multi-camera comedy series Prince of Peoria, Deadline is reporting.

The series will be apart of Netflix’s Kids and Family Division and has been described as having a sort of Coming to America vibe. The series will follow Emil, a 13-year-old Prince from a wealthy island Kingdom, who travels to America to live incognito as an exchange student. During his stay he will strike up an unlikely friendship with Teddy, a fastidious, overachieving boy who is Emil’s complete opposite.

The series was written by Nick Stanton and Devin Bunje who are also the creators of Disney XD show A Gamer’s Guide To Pretty Much Everything. Stanton and Bunje will also serve as showrunners and willexectuive produce the show along with Sharla Sumpter Bridgett with Netflix as the studio.
