Just days after the Evolution Championship Series announced that Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will not be featured on their game line up, A Capcom representative reported that Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will not be included on their Pro Tour.

The Capcom representative made it clear that the entire tour will be focused on Street Fighter V, its third and newest round of playable characters and its most recent Arcade Mode update.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite did have its own separate tournament during its release in September of 2017 called the Battle for the Stones, but it seems that fans still expected the game to be a part of the upcoming Capcom Pro Tour.

More Capcom Pro Tour details are expected on February 19.
