Report: Season 3 of ‘Stranger Things’ To Have 8 Episodes

Popular Netflix original series, Stranger Things is coming back for a third season and according to TVLine, the number of episodes for the new season has been revealed.

The series will be down one episode from last season, but on par with the first season with the third season consisting of 8 episodes.

Not much is known about the upcoming season of the 80s-themed series, but series creators, the Duffer brothers, confirmed that the show will jump ahead in time slightly.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last October, Matt Duffer said, “Even if we wanted to hop into the action faster, we couldn’t. Our kids are aging. We can only write and produce the show so fast. They’re going to be almost a year older by the time we start shooting Season 3… [so] it forces you to do a time jump.”
