Rumor: ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’ for Q4 2018

According to reports coming in to Eurogamer, the newest Call of Duty iteration will be Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The game will be developed by Activision’s Treyarch, which has worked on the last three Black Ops games.

Reportedly, the game will be released in quarter 4, and there’s supposedly talks of a Switch version as well, which will have full DLC support, HD Rumble, and its own set of Switch-specific motion controls.

All of this is being reported by Marcus Sellars, who has been on the nose about video game leaks and reports before.

So far, the only details about this rumored release are the platforms and release date; the Black Ops series ranges in time period, and it’s unclear if the game is set in the past, or in the future like Black Ops 3.

That said, what new content would you like to see in a Black Ops game? Let us know in the comments!
