Sony Working on ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Sequel with Director, Writer, Stars Possibly Returning
To say Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was a surprise for Sony is an understatement. The film opened December 20, 2017 and has so far made $858 million worldwide.
This past weekend the movie was No. 1 at the domestic box office and has stayed near the top of the charts for its entire run. These are staggering numbers considering it came out the same time as Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
With this kind of success, it comes as no surprise that Sony is already working on plans for a sequel.
