Justice League, Green Lantern and More: DC Comics Attractions Coming to Warner Bros. World Theme Park

DC Comics super fans will soon be able to visit some of the most iconic locations from their favorite comics when Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi opens later this year. Theme park developer Miral and Warner Bros. announced several rides they have planned for the park, and they also teased some of the more immersive future attractions.

The park will have different sections, including areas dedicated to Gotham City, Metropolis, a western-inspired land where characters like the Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote will live, as well as an entrance plaza with an old Hollywood feel. In the Metropolis section, fans will be able to ride a flying simulator alongside Hal Jordan for a 4-D adventure in Green Lantern: Galactic Odyssey.

Another attraction in Metropolis will be Justice League: Warworld Attacks, in which guests can join Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman and the rest of the league in battle. Rides exclusively dedicated to Superman and Teen Titans have also been announced for Metropolis.

And of course, it wouldn’t be Warner Bros. without some classic cartoons—the theme park will also feature a Cartoon Junction area, with a Tom and Jerry roller coaster and a Scooby Doo haunted ride. More attractions that include other iconic cartoon characters such as Tweety Bird, Taz the Tasmanian Devil and Daffy Duck are in the works as well.

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is scheduled to open this summer, and you can find more information on the park’s official website here.
