No word yet on when filming will start for the follow-up to the DCEU’s Suicide Squadbut we do know that actors Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez and Joel Kinnaman started training for their roles in the sequel.

In an interview with Collider, Kinnaman was asked whether or not he knew when filming would be starting. Check out what he had to say below:

“I just know that they are working intensely on it. I know it’s a big priority at Warner Bros., but it’s an equally big priority to get it right. We all felt that we had lightning in a bottle, in a way, and it partly got away from us, a little bit. It’s really important to harness everything that was great about it, and then fix what didn’t really work. So, I know they’re working on it, and we’ll see.”

Sounds like the studio is working tirelessly to get the DCEU on the right track. No word on a release date yet, but what do you guys think of Rick Flag’s words about the upcoming project? Let us know below!
