‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ To End After Season 3
Dear reader, it has been announced that Netflix’s take of the Lemony Snicket book series is to end after the third season.
The show first premiered on Netflix last year on January 13, 2017. Since then, a second and third season have been confirmed. The second season is actually set for release this year on March 30. But, with all good (and bad) things, the series must come to an end. Neil Patrick Harris (aka Count Olaf himself) has confirmed that the show will only run up to the third and final season.
The Baudelaire children from the first season of Netflix‘s series
The first season followed books 1 to 4, with the second season to follow books 5 to 9, and the last supposedly to finish up the book series. The Netflix series follows the troubling lives of Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire (Malina Weissman, Louis Hynes, Presley Smith) who are being pursued by Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris) after the tragic deaths of the children’s parents.
