First Look at Captain America’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Shield
Though Avengers: Infinity War is not out until May 4, early images of the toys accompanying the film are offering the first look at Captain America’s new shield.
As everyone recalls, Cap left his shield behind after the big fight between him, Tony and Bucky in Civil War. Later in a post credits scene, Steve and Bucky were in Wakanda as T’Challa offered protection for Bucky as he returned to cryo-sleep.

The Captain America figure shows him now sporting a shield with a shape similar to his original theatrical one from The First Avenger. Instead of the red, white and blue, it is now silver and black with a definite Wakandan style.
None of this is surprising considering T’Challa’s now famous “get this man a shield” line from the trailer.
Infinity War follows the heroes of the MCU as they unite to keep Thanos from getting all the infinity stones for his gauntlet.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, and starring The Avengers, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Infinity War assembles in theaters May 4.
