Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters May 25 (that’s only 112 days away) and a trailer still hasn’t been released by Disney. There has been virtually no promotional material for the movie aside from the set photo below, so fans believe Solo’s marketing campaign will kick off during the Super Bowl this year.

Disney has not commented on the Super Bowl ad rumors, but the studio has reportedly purchased a 30-second spot and a 45-second spotwhich has fans wondering if one of those is for Solo. And while that is a possibility, Disney is also releasing three major movies soon, the first one being Black Panther (Feb. 16), followed by Avengers: Infinity War (May 4) and Wrinkle in Time (March 9).

The studio declined to comment as to why marketing has been almost nonexistent, but some believe that Disney just does not want to promote the prequel while Star Wars: The Last Jedi is still in theaters. During Sunday’s event Universal is airing a trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and Paramount will air an ad for Mission: Impossible — Fallout. Streaming services Netflix and Amazon have also purchased ad times, but there hasn’t been any confirmation as to what they’ll be promoting yet.

Black Panther will be in theaters February 16th though, so even if a Super Bowl ad doesn’t happen, Star Wars fans might still get a trailer then.

Have you been waiting for a Solo trailer? Are you excited about the film or are you a little worried? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and share this with a Star Wars fan!
