We’re barely into 2018 and it’s already shaping up to be a year full of superheroes and as we already knew not all of them wear capes.

Last year we saw the generosity of Octavia Spencer when she rented out screenings in Los Angeles in order for disadvantaged families to be able to see Hidden Figures. In her post then, she said that “My mom would not have been able to take me and my siblings. So I’m honoring her and all the single parents this #mlkweekend. Pass the word.” It would appear that Spencer has been bitten by the bug again as she is planning to do the same when Black Panther gets released later this month.

The actress took to her Instagram to announce her plans to rent out a theater in Mississippi, which is where she will be when it’s released on the 16th.

It didn’t take long for others to follow Spencer’s suit and rent out screenings of Hidden Figures and who knows? Maybe the same will happen this go-round as well.

Have you already bought your tickets for Black Panther? Are you excited? Tell us how you feel in the comments below!
