Sofia Carson to be in the pilot for ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Spinoff ‘The Perfectionists’
Freeform has booked a familiar face for the pilot of its Pretty Little Liars spinoff The Perfectionists.
Descendants star Sofia Carson will play Ava, a blogger and coder who wants a career in fashion.
The spinoff is set in the town of Beacon Heights where everything seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents. But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be. The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town’s first murder. Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi.

Pretty Little Liars ran on ABC Family/Freeform for seven seasons and 160 episodes. It followed five friends through an ever evolving mystery in the town of Rosewood.
The Perfectionists will include Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish reprising their characters Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal.
Carson also recurs on Freeform’s Famous in Love as Sloane.
