Marta Milans Joins ‘Shazam!’
Marta Milans, best known for featuring in horror movies (The Disappearance, Devoured), joins the cast of DC Comics’ Shazam!, according to Deadline. The Spanish actress will be joing Shazam‘s lead Zachary Levi in the New Line production.
Milans will be a portraying the role of one of the foster parents at the home where Billy lives. Filming for the movie has officially started, as Director David F. Sandberg shared this picture on instagram:
The movie follows Billy Batson (Levi) who can transform himself to Shazam with the powers of superhuman strength, speed, flight and other worldly abilities, when speaking the word “Shazam!” (an acronym or the Greek Gods: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles and Mercury.)
Shazam! is slated to hit theaters April 5, 2019 and you can catch Milans in her upcoming indie film Asher.
