Black-ish star Marsai Martin is set to make her studio feature debut in Will Packer’s (Girls Trip) next project.

Little centers on a woman who gets the chance to relive the carefree life as her younger self (Martin), when the pressures of adulthood become too much.

Drumline writer Tina Gordon is directing and has been working on the most recent draft of the script. Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip) worked on the first draft.

Martin had the idea for the story and will executive produce alongside Packer, James Lopez, Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and actress Regina Hall.

Martin co-stars as youngest daughter Diane on ABC’s Black-ish and has done voice work on the Disney animated series Elena of Avalor and Goldie and Bear.

Black-ish airs Tuesdays at 9:30 pm on ABC.
