God of War Gets New Trailer & April 20th Release Date
Following weeks of purported release date leaks, PlayStation has finally unveiled a release date for God of War. Kratos returns Friday, April 20. Alongside the news comes a new story trailer; check it out below:
In addition, a collector’s edition has been announced. Its contents differ from the previously revealed Stone Mason’s edition, as it lacks the Stone Mason’s ring, Mimir’s key chain, the troll carvings and the Defender of the Chosen Shield. The collector’s editions runs $129 USD, while the Stone Mason editions costs $149 USD. Both are pictured below:

God of War’s synopsis is as follows:
From Santa Monica Studio and creative director Cory Barlog comes a new beginning for one of gaming’s most recognizable icons. Living as a man outside the shadow of the gods, Kratos must adapt to unfamiliar lands, unexpected threats, and a second chance at being a father. Together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the brutal Norse wilds and fight to fulfill a deeply personal quest.
