Camila Cabello, former Fifth Harmony member, has made waves in the music industry with her Debut album “Camila” which has reached #1 on the Billboard charts with an equivalent 119,000 record sales with 65,000 complete album buys and 57 million streams according to the New York Times.

This feat has not been accomplished by a female since 2015 with Meghan Trainor’s debut album “Title”.

Fifth Harmony as a group has produced three albums, all of which have only risen to number 4 on the Billboard music charts. However, since Cabello’s leaving in 2016, she has produced hit “Havana” with rapper Young Thug which has more than 590 million streams on Spotify alone.

According to an interview with Billboard, Cabello is currently planning an album tour and is incredibly surprised by her recent success and how much people can connect with her music.
