With production reportedly set to start March 1, the cast of John Wick: Chapter 3 is becoming clear.
That Hashtag Show is reporting that Keanu Reeves will be joined by returning co-stars Laurence Fishburne, Common and Ruby Rose. All three first appeared in John Wick: Chapter 2.
Fishburne plays The Bowery King, a mob boss in New York who runs his business using a network of operatives that pretend to be homeless. He gave John weapons and intel to help him find his enemy Santino.
Common is Cassian, the bodyguard who is after John because he killed Cassian’s charge Gianna. He was last seen on a subway train after being stabbed by John.
Ruby Rose was Santino’s mute bodyguard. She survived a fight with John, but is likely out for revenge following his murder of her boss.
That Hashtag Show is also reporting that Hiroyuki Sanada will play the villain and John’s target in Chapter 3. The site also says the project is casting another female part opposite Reeves.
Directed by Chad Stahelski, John Wick: Chapter 3 is scheduled to hit theaters May 17, 2019.
