‘Dark Souls: Remastered’ is Coming to Nintendo Switch in May
After rumors had been circulating for a while, Nintendo has finally made it official: the original Dark Souls is coming to Nintendo Switch soon. Some fans of the horror game had been hoping for a December announcement, and were disappointed when nothing was confirmed. But the wait is finally over—it was announced by Nintendo and Bandai Namco that the Dark Souls remaster will be available to play on May 25, 2018. It will also be available to play on Xbox One and PS4 that same date.
Dark Souls: Remastered will feature new Artorias of the Abyss downloadable content, as well as improved resolution and framerate. The remaster is also the first time any of the Dark Souls games is available to play on a portable console. According to the game description on the Nintendo website, the game will also feature “Hundreds of unique combinations of weaponry, armor, magic and crafting options to create your own playstyle and gaming experience.”
