‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Digital and Blu-ray Release Dates Announced

Thor Ragnarok hit theatres back on November 3, 2017 -just a couple of months ago- and it followed Thor as he tried to stop Hela, the goddess of Death, from ending Asgard as he knows it alongside his friends, The Revengers.

The film was received with positive reviews, praising filmmaker Taika Waititi for his very different approach to the character and his mythos from previous films. Tessa Thompson -our Valkyrie- and Jeff Goldblum -Grandmaster- were also praised for their performances, as they brought something “new and fresh” to the table.

Now, after the film has ended it’s course at the theatres, Disney has released the official dates for Ragnarok’s release in Digital and Blu-Ray, alongside with a new, “in-home” trailer.

The bonus features of the DVD/Blu-Ray have been reported to include another Marvel One-Shot about Thor’s eccentric Midgardian roommate Darryl, whose first appearance was in a promotional for “Team Thor” during Captain America: Civil War publicity campaign.

But that’s not all, as the DVD will also include Waititi’s commentary about the making of the film, some deleted scenes, funny outtakes a.k.a the gag reel, a look at the evolution of MCU’s heroes from the beginning of everything until Avengers: Infinity War, numerous making-of featurettes exploring Taika Waititi’s vision and style, more about Valkyrie and her history, more about Korg and the Grandmaster as well as the film’s comic-book origins, to name a few.
