The possibility of seeing Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League has been on people’s minds ever since the premiere of the film -back in November- as fans have petitioned Warner through Change.org to release that cut alongside with Junkie XL score.

Even though some have exclaimed that said cut is inexistent and really expensive for the studio to complete, there are others who claim that it does, even encouraging fans to continue their demand towards the studio.

One of those people is none other than Richard Cetrone, a stunt worker who has worked on every movie in DC Films’ library since Man of Steel and regularly filling in as Ben Affleck’s Batman stunt double, confirmed the existence of this cut through an exchange in Facebook with a fan.

Please pass along to your group my thanks for their passion in supporting Zack. Tell them I know for a fact that a Zack Snyder cut does exist and with the help of people like you and your group we can hopefully persuade WB to release it. Thanks again.”

However, is important to clarify that this was shared through Reddit, making it look like a “she said, he said” kind of scenario. But one argument that sustains this exchange is the fact that, a few weeks ago, Cetrone shared Change.org petition alongside a small statement.

“So I probably should have written this when I put up this post, but I want to make it clear now. I have nothing against Joss Whedon. I have worked with Joss on multiple projects and I think he is a great director and he’s very easy to work with. I also have enjoyed Danny Elfman’s music for years going back to Oingo Boingo. So I agree with the cause, but not everything the person who wrote out the petition is stating. I posted it because I want to support my friend and what I can to see that his version is released. You might say that is going to happen anyway, but that is not necessarily true. And if it does happen people should know that it is his version. When B v S “extended cut” was released that was actually the “Director’s cut” and in my opinion, that’s how it should have been released.”

Said petition has already crossed 70 000 signatures but Warner has made no announcement or comment about this, even though it has been reported that Justice League‘s DVD and Blu-Ray is already on the way. We’ll just have to be patient to see what happens next.
