Sony is reportedly planning a five film franchise around the properties, with the movies being rated-R and having a style inspired by The Terminator and Robocop.
Diesel would once again be working with his Fast & Furious producer Neal Moritz, along Valiant’s Dinesh Shamdasani.
Dave Wilson is set to direct with Eric Heisserer (Arrival) writing the script.
Diesel will next be heard on-screen when he returns as Groot in Avengers: Infinity War May 4.
