‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Snags Lead Role in ‘The Enola Holmes Mysteries’
Looks like Millie Bobby Brown will go from being a mystery as Eleven in Stranger Things, to solving a mystery as Enola Holmes.
The Emmy-nominated actress will star in “The Enola Holmes Mysteries” as Legendary Entertainment closed the deal. Not only will Brown be playing Enola herself, but it seems she will also be producing the film series through PCMA.
The novel series, written by author Nancy Springers, was first published in 2006. The series centers around Enola Holmes, the fourteen-year-old younger sister of private detective Sherlock Holmes. Beginning with “The Case of the Missing Marquees,” Springers published six novels, granting for nominations for the Edgar Awards for Best Juvenile Mystery in 2007 – including the fifth installment “The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline” in 2010.
