The CW’s Jane the Virgin has booked Rosario Dawson for a multi-episode arc in the show’s fourth season.
It was announced by the network at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour, where CW representative Paul Hewitt said he had no further details, as he had just found out as well. While details about her role are being kept under wraps, we do know that she will be appearing towards the later half of the season.
Jane the Virgin returns from its hiatus at the end of this month, with ten more episodes. Dawson currently stars in Netflix’s Marvel superhero universe as Claire Temple, with appearances on Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and The Defenders. She has also signed on to narrate an upcoming Netflix documentary titled The Need to Grow, which focuses on the importance of healthy soil. So it’s pretty safe to say she’s going to have a busy 2018.
Jane the Virgin season 4 returns Friday, Jan. 26, at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
