Helena Bonham Carter Cast in ‘The Crown’

Last year, it was announced that actress Olivia Colman would be replacing Claire Foy for the role of Queen Elizabeth in the Netflix original series The Crown. Peter Morgan, the series creator, explained that it was always the plan to replace the key cast so that they can hire actors to portray the characters as they age.

Now, Variety is reporting that Helena Bonham-Carter has been cast to play the sister of The Queen, Princess Margaret in seasons three and four of the award-winning series.

Helena Bonham-Carter is a formidable actress whose work can be seen in popular films like Fight Club, Alice In Wonderland and the Harry Potter Franchise. There is no doubt that Carter will kill in this role as she always does.

There has been no official word if seasons three and four of the series have been officially ordered but early production is reportedly happening.
