Season 2 of ‘Atlanta’ to Premiere in March

Mark your calendars, people!

Due to Donald Glover’s role in Solo: A Star Wars Story, production for the second season of the hit show was delayed. After the show aired its first season in September 2016, Atlanta‘s Season 2’s premiere date has finally been revealed: Thursday March 1, 2018 at 10pm!

Not only did the sophomore season get a premiere date, FX also revealed that the season will not titled “Atlanta Season 2.” Nope! It’s getting a semi-new title: Atlanta Robbin’ Season.

Glover reprises his role as Earnest Marks, who tries to jumpstart his cousin Alfred’s (Brian Tyree Henry) career, all while trying to better their lives. Get Out‘s Lakeith Lee Stanfield also stars. Glover serves as show runner, along with Paul Simms, Dianne  McGunigle and Stephen Glover.

The comedy-drama has been nominated for many awards, including a Golden Globe and Emmy award. Glover snagged a Golden Globe for “Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series” for Atlanta.

Time has been flying recently, so there’s no doubt that Atlanta Robbin’ Season will be here in no time!
