Hollywood continues its plan to bring back the 90s, with the return of the cartoon Animaniacs.
The reboot has received a two season straight to series pick up from Hulu.
The show followed Yakko, Wakko and Dot as they escaped the Warner Brothers water tower and went on crazy adventures with other Looney Tune characters.
Amblin Television, and Warner Bros. Animation will produce the series, with Steven Spielberg back as executive producer.
The deal also includes the streaming rights to all 99 episodes of the original show, Pinky and the Brain, Pinky, Elmyra and the Brain and Tiny Toon Adventures.
“I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu,” Spielberg said. “Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. I am also excited that the full library of Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures episodes are included in the deal.”
The new Animaniacs is set to debut on Hulu in 2020.
