FOX Renews ‘The Gifted’ for Season Two
It seems 2018 really is the year of the X-Men, as FOX has announced that it has renewed The Gifted for a second season.
The series, set in the X-Men universe, follows a family on the run from the government after their teenagers develop mutant powers. They join the mutant underground and fight back against the organizations chasing them.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the show is the third highest rated new drama of the season.

Recent episodes have seen the mutants gearing up for a battle against Sentinel Services. It also introduced the Hellfire Club into the story as things heat up ahead of the two-hour season finale.
Fans who need more X-Men can head to theaters for New Mutants April 13, Deadpool 2 on June 1 and X-Men: Dark Phoenix Nov. 2.
The Gifted starring Amy Acker, Stephen Moyer, Natalie Alyn Lind, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford, Percy Hynes White, Coby Bell and Garret Dillahunt airs its two-hour season finale Monday, Jan. 15 on FOX.
