Entire ‘Harry Potter’ Franchise is on HBO

HBO has given Harry Potter fans a special gift for the new year. The cable channel announced that beginning Jan. 1, all eight films are available on all HBO’s platforms. This includes the network’s streaming service HBO NOW.

The franchise, that follows the adventures of young wizard Harry Potter and his Hogwarts’ friends and classmates Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger as they fight the evil Voldemort, began with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

It was followed by Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2.

The franchise was then given a prequel with 2016’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. That movie also aired on HBO, so it is available on demand. This means fans can finally enjoy all the films in one place.

This will help everyone get caught up before the sequel Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald casts its spell on moviegoers Nov. 16.
