‘ATL’ Sequel In The Works Lauren London Confirms
Yup. It’s happening. The 2006 drama film is getting its own sequel, Lauren London (New New) confirmed with Complex during an episode of their Sneaker Shopping series.
“I know that they are working on it. And I know that it is something they are trying to push forward. I don’t know so much but that would be a great T.I. question.”
London then went on to say that the cast wants another installment of the movie just as much as the fans.
The original movie starred rapper T.I., making his film debut playing Rashad. Earlier this year, he posted an Instagram photo with London herself, suggesting that the sequel was already in the works with the caption “Coming Soon!!!!” And just a few months ago in September, he posted another photo that included more members of the cast, including twins Khadijah and Malika Haqq, who played Veda and Star in the original movie.
