Kendrick Lamar Reportedly Working On Original Song for ‘Black Panther’
Just when you thought the creatives in front and behind the camera that are involved in Black Panther couldn’t get any better… cue Kendrick Lamar to have us all SHOOKETH!
It is being reported (via Polygon) that the seven time Grammy winning Hip-Hop artist is secretly working on the title track to accompany the promotion for the highly anticipated Marvel film Black Panther. The artist apparently dropped an Easter Egg about his involvement in the film at the beginning of his new video for “Love”. You may have missed the hint, but thanks to one twitter user @Jersey_jinx we got a screenshot of the tease. Check out the tweet below:

Kendrick Lamar is definitely a force to be reckoned with and his musical involvement in Black Panther is sure to produce another anthem adjacent to his smash hit “DNA”, a song which has been praised by Ryan Coogler and Chadwick Boseman. No word on a song title or a release date, but just like we are all holding our breath for the film’s release we got to wait a little while longer for whatever Kendrick is cooking up in the studio too.
