A ‘Bright’ Sequel with Will Smith Is Already in the Works
Netflix has thrown down the gauntlet in a display of unwavering faith in their upcoming film Bright. Prior to the film’s original release, Netflix has already ordered a follow-up for their big-budget film.
In a year where shows such as Sense8 and The Get Down were cancelled for their reception not warranting the cost. Bright, a film that early reviews currently has at a 28% on Rotten Tomatoes surprisingly managed to earn the trust of the number 1 streaming platform.
Already proving their ability to compete in the television market, Netflix is ready to take on the film industry. Starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton the human and orc buddy cop movie, written by Chronicle’s Max Landis, will release on December 22.
As of now, we can’t speak on the quality of Bright and if it’s deserving of this prematurely announced sequel. However, be sure to keep an eye out for our in-depth review of the film soon!

Man screw the critics. Probably paid off anyways. The fans are what matters and this movie was good. Nothing ground breaking but a fun movie to watch.
That’s what I’ve been hearing a lot. The complaints in the reviews sound oddly personal too, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some sort of bad air between critics and Netflix.
