New Set Photos Released of Tom Hardy Filming ‘Venom’
The highly anticipated Venom movie is underway, as news set photos have surfaced on Friday, December 15. Tom Hardy (Venom) aka Eddie Brock was seen filming a fight scene with Scott Haze (Child of God), whose role is yet to be announced in the film. In the photos, Hardy’s character is bloody and bruised, as the two take turns grabbing each other by the neck.

Also set to star in the film is Rogue One‘s Riz Ahmed, joined with Michelle Williams, who has confirmed to portray Anne Weying.
In the comics, Venom is a Symbiote, an alien whose survival is dependent on a host — in the case, Eddie Brock himself. When the Symbiote joins the human, the shape-shifting form refers to itself as “Venom.”
Venom will be the first film in Sony’s Marvel Universe, an extension of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is set to be released October 5th, 2018.
