Kylie Bunbury Lands Lead Role in ABC’S ‘Get Christie Love’ Reboot
Kylie Bunbury, Pitch, and Twisted alum has landed the title character role for the Get Christie Love reboot, snagging the role of a CIA agent who runs a highly trained elite ops unit.
The original 1974 Get Christie Love was an American crime drama TV series starring actress and singer Teresa Graves, credited as the first African American woman to star in her own hour-long drama television series. The story followed the detective as she goes undercover to investigate a drug ring in Los Angeles.
Power creator and showrunner Courtney Kemp will serve as showrunner for the reboot, while actor Vin Diesel will assume the position as executive producer.
A release date has not been set, as ABC holds the commitment.
As someone who is still bitter about Pitch‘s cancellation, I am excited to follow Bunbury on her journey as Christie Love.
