Director David F. Sandberg has kept much of Shazam! under wraps. However, he has revealed that Grace Fulton will be joining his cast.

Its clear Fulton excited for her upcoming role in the upcoming DC film. On her instagram she states “Guys… guys… I’m gonna be in Shazam. I know! It’s crazy! What? Ah! HOLY MOLEY!! If you couldn’t tell, I’m super EXCITED!” She also credits producer Peter Safran, whom she worked with on Annabelle: Creation.

She will be joining actors Asher Angel who will be playing Billy Batson, Zachary Levi as Shazam a.k.a Captain Marvel, Dylan Grazer who will be playing Freddy Freeman, one of Billy Batson’s good friends. Some speculate she will be playing Mary Marvel, however this has not been confirmed by either Fuller or Samberg.

Shazam! is expected to release on April 5, 2019.
