Terrence Howard, Wesley Snipes, Eiza González, T.I. To Star In ‘Cut Throat City’
Robert Fitzgerald Diggs a.k.a. RZA, who directed the Iron Fist episode Immortal Emerges from Cave and Love Beats Rhymes, is set to direct an upcoming “post-Katrina heist drama,” Cut Throat City, for Mendelsohn’s Union Patriot Capital Managemen.
With a script from P.G. Cuschieri, the film follows four boyhood friends who return to New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina, find their home decimated and any prospects for work swept away. As they turn to a local gangster for employment, the crew is hired to pull off a daring casino heist, right in the heart of the city.

Set to star in this feature film are Terrence Howard (Empire), Wesley Snipes (Blade), Eiza González (Baby Driver), rapper and actor Tip “T.I.” Harris (Ant-Man), Demetrius Shipp Jr. (All Eyez on Me) and Shameik Moore (Netflix’s The Get Down) as the main characters, with Joel David Moore (Avatar), Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries), Rob Morgan (Mudbound), Keean Johnson (Alita: Battle Angel), Denzel Whitaker (The Great Debaters) and Isaiah Washington (The 100) in recurring roles.
