Details Revealed for Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando

As if the Switch allowing us to take Nintendo experiences with us anywhere we want isn’t enough. By 2021 Nintendo will allow fans to immerse themselves in the Mushroom Kingdom with the development of Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando.

While knowledge of the park has been known for some time, Nintendo and Universal have been tight-lipped regarding what fans should expect. Thankfully, Alicia Stella from Orlando Park Stop put together a detailed video telling us what the park could bring. Taking the place of Woody Woodpecker’s Kid Zone, Super Nintendo World is rumored to have three themed zones: Super Mario Land, Mario Kart, and Donkey Kong.

The Mario Kart experience has already been described as their, “most immersive and cutting edge attraction,” by President of Universal Creative Mark Woodbury. Racers will traverse through 10 classic Mario Kart tracks, including Rainbow Road. Throughout the experience, racers will be confronted by their favorite Nintendo characters as they rush towards the finish line. The concept art also details attractions for all ages, ranging from a family-friendly Yoshi ride to a thrilling Donkey Kong escape.

For more information be sure to check out Alicia Stella’s video, in which she talks about the potential of Zelda and Pokemon theme parks.
