Woody Harrelson In Talks To Join Sony’s Venom Film
Sony’s impending Venom film is continuously adding to its cast; this time, the new addition is Woody Harrelson. According to Variety, details on the character he is signed on to play are scarce. However, the publication purports the actor’s unidentified role will have him acting as a “henchman of sorts.”
Harrelson’s casting puts him in good company, as he’ll be joining star Tom Hardy, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams, and Jenny Slate. Roles for the latter additions to the film are as similarly vague as Harrelson’s part. Ahmed’s attachment reportedly has him cast as a popular Marvel character. Williams is allegedly on board to play a district attorney who may be a love interest of Hardy’s symbiote. All that’s known of Slate’s role is that she’ll be playing a scientist.
