The release of Kingsman: The Golden Circle on Blu-Ray has fans wondering about the possibility of a third Kingsman movie.
Visual Effects Supervisor Angus Bickerton spoke with CBR about another movie at an event for the film.
“We’ve had the briefest of conversations with Matthew [Vaughn] about it…he’s got plans,” he said.
Director Matthew Vaughn has previously said he has more stories in mind for the British spies/tailors.
“I think there’s a story in my head which will be finished by the end of the next one,” Vaughn said in September. “And then after that then, of course, there could be Statesman movies, there could be spinoff character films.
“The universe could continue with new agents. Or, you know, Colin could become Arthur…or new characters could come in,” he continued. “Or new kids get trained. There’s so many options, but I also think it’s better not to be too greedy.”
Kingsman: The Golden Circle follows Eggsy and Merlin as they get help from their American counterparts the Statesman, when they try to take down the evil Poppy.
The movie stars Taron Egerton, Mark Strong, Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Pedro Pascal, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Elton John.
