Warner Bros. Reveals Upcoming DCEU Movie Slate, Surprising Films Missing
It’s no secret that DC’s movie plans have been up in the air since the unexpectedly average Justice League box office.
Though the film has made $613 million worldwide, its reported $300 million production budget means it’s not the hit the studio needs.
At Comic Con Experience 2017 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Warner Bros. revealed its upcoming DC movie slate and some surprising projects were not on the list.
The presentation started with Wonder Woman 2 and Aquaman, which are the most stable projects on the schedule. The success of Wonder Woman guarantees the sequel will happen, while Aquaman is set for release December 21, 2018.

The rest of the upcoming list includes Flashpoint, Suicide Squad 2, Shazam, Batgirl, Green Lantern Corps, The Batman, and Justice League Dark.
Justice League Dark and Flashpoint are surprises as they have suffered from multiple director changes and neither film has a new director yet.
Left off of the list are Cyborg, Deathstroke, Gotham City Sirens, Harley Quinn, Joker & Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Joker origin movie produced by Martin Scorsese.
While Nightwing, Harley Quinn and Gotham City Sirens seemed like certainties based on reports, the rest of the movies have all been rumored at best.
With Zack Snyder reportedly out and nothing a safe bet, Warner Bros. and DC need to firm up a plan before rumors of chaos further diminish the franchise.
