Rumor: Donna Troy May Appear in Titans
The Hashtag Show has revealed another casting call for DC’s live-action television adaptation of Titans.
The casting call is for the character Ruth Gibbs, and they are looking for actresses who are Caucasian, Latina, Middle Eastern, or are racially ambiguous. She is to be in her 20’s and the character is described as confident, kick-ass, and educated.
This casting call suggests that this may be Donna Troy who has a history with the Titans. If this is Donna Troy they are certainly trying to match up wth Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, since the characters are meant to be connected. Donna’s story is convoluted and her connection to Wonder Woman has changed over the years, but she has always been depicted as a younger version of Diana Prince.
